Captain Bill Tranter is a lifelong fisherman with over 25 years of experience at the helm. His love for the ocean began at an early age while fishing off the coast of New Jersey from inshore to the northeast canyons. During his lifetime, Captain Bill has fished up and down the Eastern Seaboard from Florida to Maine. His fishing adventures have even taken him as far as Alaska. 

 

Fishing in Maine has been good to Captain Bill. In the last several years, he has won multiple trophies for groundfish in the annual Bailey Island Fishing Tournament. He is also involved with The Casco Bay Bluefin Bonanza tournament as a committee member. CBBB is a local nonprofit event that raises money for educational grants.
